Seashells
I was depressed when I moved down to Florida. Actually uncle Bill was the starter here, we came for the business. Zeida told me to walk by the ocean. And he was right, it helped me. And then we got used to it, and we had a shul here. Then the children started coming here, so that was nice.
The ocean. It was such a strange place. Where I was born, we had only rivers.
I would take a little basket, and collect seashells. It became such a hobby for me, I collected so many shells. I donated them to a school. And I loved it. It gave me strength. It gave me relaxation. I went to a place and they explained to me, that in the ocean, there is a river that flows, in the ocean, all the way to England. If it wouldn’t be for the river in the ocean, England would be frozen.
The gulf stream. That’s what it’s called.
