In the village, we used to wrap someone in cold towels to bring their temperature down. And then, a thermometer was invented. When she was sick, we put a thermometer under my Baba’s arm… to take her temperature. She thought it was for her arthritis… so we just kept it there, under her arm! Bring me the thermometer! She used to say, when her arthritis would hurt her. We thought that was so funny. She is to me, like I am to you. I used to be able to keep up with the emails. But now with my eyesight, I can’t anymore.
